Different between PDF, Kindle and ebooks
When it comes to books these days, you will hear a lot of words thrown around nicely:
Ebook, PDF, Kindle, Nook, ePub, .mobi… list goes on. We don't blame you for the confusion… it's confusing.
Don't forget, we are here to make sense of these things.
Fortunately, although there are confusing names, dots — any kind of files and beautiful device names, there are only three electronic book formats that we need to worry about. Let's look at each of these.
But first, we better play Socrates and clarify our language and words a bit.

Definition of a Standard Book
Ebook- Generally, ebook simply means “electronic book.” That means it can be read on a computer or handheld device. If what you read on the screen of any kind and not on paper, it's an ebook.
However, when you see "download my new ebooks through visit ebooks elibray" online, about 99% of the time it refers to a PDF document. The one any computer everywhere, brand new on the shelf, can open and read .pdf.
Kindle: Kindle manually reads a book. It reads many file types, but its favorite at the moment is known as .mobi. That’s the kind of file that gives us the best control of how Kindle actually delivers written work.
Now, when people search for a friend's book, they usually don't say "ebook" which means general pdf. Instead they will ask for a book of some kind or say,
"Can I get this on my Kindle?"
Nook: Nook is similar to Kindle, in that it is one of the hand-learned. However, it does not use .mobi files as does Kindle. Instead it uses .epub files.

What’s The Actual Difference among These?
The .pdf ebook is edited text- it is as if a magazine has been edited. We all know that once a magazine is printed, its words and pictures are always kept in place. Text will never grow or decrease in size and one column of text will never be magical by two columns. Stoned.. Paper… paper.
.Pdf is the same. Once .pdf is built, it is sorted. Yes, you can zoom in or out, but in reality that is just like holding a magazine near your face. Unless you have a really bad mood, you don't change the document a bit.
Kindle and Nook books are different. Both have the feature of text-sized text, which means users can make text larger or smaller to embrace their perspective and read comfort.
Due to this resizing, the text will flow differently from page to page. If, for example, you enlarge the text size, a few words will now fit on the electronic “page,” so the text that was on page 5 could end up on page 6. Do you understand?
Because of this fact, Kindle and Nook books need a special touch when it comes to design and construction. When the text begins to move around, it is clear that the starting of the chapter and the ending of the chapter is clearly stated.
I hope that brings a little clarity to the e-book confusion

But What Do I Need? An Ebook or Kindle Book or…?
Now, the last thing, we get a lot of questions from customers, writers and business owners about what they should be giving their customers.
Do people want a pdf, ebook or something like Kindle and Book?
The answer is yes, all of the above.
Honestly, it's better to have them all. If you trade an ebook, selected customers will only read it on their computer screens. Some will only read it on Kindle. However some people will read one of your ebook at home on their computers, and then want to learn the rest of their Kindle on the train. So give them both. It can't hurt.
The bonus of having each format is that you can add it to your sales page, to your book sales points. Something like this will do really well and improve sales.
